I used up the last of my MVP free software alottment on a copy of Microsoft Office 2007 Standard edition, a $400 value, so I could give it away this month to some lucky TechTrax member.
This version contains Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. This is not an upgrade version, but a full version. So if you read my article this month about installing multiple versions of Office, this version will give you a new, full license to allow you to run and use it, even if you already have another version of Office on your computer. This will let you learn the new technology when you have time, while still keeping your current version available to use when you need to get your projects done.
And since you're a TechTrax member, there are no hoops to jump through. Simply login to the Member's site and click the Office Drawing button at the bottom of this month's member's home page. On April 15th, I'll spin the software wheel to find the lucky database entry number and that member will win Office 2007 Standard. Also, since you're a member, there's no need to reply within 24 hours. This is because there's a much better chance that you do still exist out there since you've paid for membership status. You'll have a week to respond. However, if we can't locate you after a week (7 days)...we will have to choose a new winning member.
So don't forget to register your entry before April 15th. The drawing will close at midnight, April 14th, Chicago time.
