Word 2007's user interface has been totally revamped. This means that most all toolbars are gone, many dialog boxes have disappeared and commands have been reorganized so they are no longer where you remember they were. However, a big saving grace to folks moving to 2007 is the fact that just about every shortcut command that you have been able to use in previous versions of Word...still work in Word 2007.
This is a terrific time-saving feature for new 2007 users who want to get rolling without having to spend a lot of time hunting for the commands they need. If you remember the shortcut to that command, just hit those keys and you're on your way. You can deal with locating the command on the ribbon later...when you have more time.
So if you're planning to move to 2007 in the future, you may want to put down that mouse and work on mastering all those great shortcuts that many of us keyboarders have been taking advantage of for years.
