If you've spend any time on the Internet or sending emails, you're aware that LOL means Laughing Out Loud. It's an emoticon, of sorts. True emoticons are actually symbols that represent emotions, i.e., emotion + icon = emoticon. (See this article for more of those: E-mail Jargon)
They say laughter is the best medicine. I can attest that that line is true. Laugh and you feel much better. I know it works for me because the other day my daughter came over and turned me on to some totally ridiculous web sites and I've been feeling pretty good as I laugh so hard I cry. Granted, this all started years ago when I gave her a Bad Dog
desktop calendar. Then Greg brought one home for me recently. These calendars (Bad Cat calendars available, too) are hysterical. They show silly pictures of dogs (and cats) and have some pretty funny captions.
But then she showed me some even more outrageous web sites that are so totally stupid that, if you have even one funny bone in your body, you will be forced to at least crack a smile. That is...if you can even get the joke. Yes, some can be a struggle to understand, but some just hit you in the face, like this one.
This is a typical scaredy cat jump-back in the air. But the perfect caption makes it not only ridiculous, but totally hysterical.
And, of course, here we have two furry contractors doing a great job with their invisible window installation. Careful with that pane of glass, guys!
Warning...do not drink soda while viewing this web site. Soda up the nose really hurts! LOL!
The name of this precious site is, aptly named: I can has cheezeburger? Note, if that name makes no sense to you, but you're game for checking it out and you have a sense of humor...you will eventually get it. <wink>
Now as much as I love seeing cats go berserk, dogs are more my forté, so this other site just kills me! LOL!

Hilarious insanity. Although, allow me to give you one warning...if you spend too much time on these sites, you may end up speaking/writing like them! HA. I found myself doing that...really. I got problem! I tiz truthful. Good writing...FAILED!
