Critical Patch for Windows
Customers using Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows Millennium, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, or Windows XP are encouraged to download this critical patch immediately. The patch addresses a certificate enrollment control flaw that could allow deletion of digital certificates. This patch released August 28, 2002.

Security Patch for Office Programs
If you use Office Web Components - included in Microsoft Office 2000 and XP, Money 2002 and 2003, and Project 2002 - then you need to download this security patch. Dated August 21, 2002, it fixes three new vulnerabilities - the most serious of which could allow hackers to run commands on your system.

Cumulative Patch for Internet Explorer
This cumulative patch, released August 22, 2002, includes the functionality of all previously released patches for Internet Explorer 5.01, 5.5, and 6.0. Plus, it fixes six new vulnerabilities - the most serious of which could allow hackers to run commands on your system.

Office XP Service Pack 2 Now Available
Get the latest updates to Office XP, including significant security enhancements and stability and performance improvements. Released August 6, 2002.

Update Windows 2000 Performance
A recommended upgrade for Windows 2000 users, Service Pack 3 (SP3) features a collection of fixes in application compatibility, operating system reliability, security, and setup. Includes updates contained in SP1, SP2, and Security Rollup Package 1 - plus the Automatic Updates feature that automatically notifies you when critical Windows 2000 fixes are available.
