Alan Wheeler has worked, in some form or another, with computers for
almost 15 years. After losing his remaining vision in 1992, Alan learned how
to use a computer with speech output. He began learning Windows in 1997, and
went on from there. Alan taught computer skills courses at BLIND,
Inc., a training center for blind adults in Minneapolis, Minnesota for a
year and a half. He's now going to school to get an A.A.S. Degree in Business
Computer Systems with a concentration in Windows programming development.
Alan plans to open an access technology training business in the near future.
