Stacy Chesney is a recent graduating senior (Class of 2002) from Kenwood Academy (high school) in Hyde Park, IL.
Stacy started using a computer when she was 3 years old! Using the computer helped her become an avid reader. And her love for reading later helped earn her a coveted spot at Kenwood Academy, which she attended as a 7th Grade preppy through 12th grade. Stacy also designed and programmed, using HTML and JavaScript, her own web site when she was 13 yrs old.
Stacy is thinking of going back to school, later, to become a web designer or programmer. For now, she's enjoying her place in the workforce as an administrative assistant for a Real Estate firm. But if these career paths don't keep her interest, she can always fall back on her music. Stacy plays electric bass, alto sax and flute. She's been a member of her school's Orchestra for 3 years and the new Jazz band for 1 year. The Kenwood band, lead by the inspiring William "Mac" McClellan, has won top honors in Chicago band competitions for the last six years! |
