Microsoft MVP, Terry Farrell, spent his first 18 years in the Royal
Air Force as a communications technician and then the following 17+ years in the
Metropolitan Police in the Command & Control Centre. Like most MVPs, Terry
is a bit of an all rounder (jack of all trades).
Terry left his position at New Scotland Yard in 2000, after 18 years of service.
He now works for a small IT company as an IT consultant. Terry's wife works
for IBM as a Data Analyst. His eldest child just started a 4-year degree course
in Astrophysics. His next child is starting second year A Levels in Chemistry,
Maths and IT. And his youngest just moved up to senior school along with her
Flugelhorn. But Domino
still runs their home!
As for his skill level, Terry says, "Computer hardware is probably my
real expertise, but I am a Word and Excel power user and know Windows Operating
Systems in depth. If only I had more time..."
