Mike Glen, MVP

Mike Glen, from Oxfordshire, England, is a Chartered Engineer and pilot, who retired as a Wing Commander engineer after 32 years in the Royal Air Force.

Mike spent 8 years at Cranfield University at the Royal Military College of Science as a lecturer in project management and computer applications. Then, as a computer consultant for 7 years, he specialized in training for Microsoft Project.

For his work providing frequent and accurate responses to those having problems on the Project Newsgroups, Microsoft awarded Mike the status of Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for Project in 1997, a status which has been renewed every year since.

Mike is now retired, but maintains his MVP interests in Microsoft Project. However, his spare time it taken up with 4 grandchildren, caravanning, visiting historic houses and gardens, Barbershop singing and classical music.

Mike Glen is also co-author of the Que publication for Project 2002: Special Edition Using Project 2002, by Tim Pyron, et al.
