Mark Thorpe works with Ibbotson Associates of Chicago as a manager of software
development and holds the figurehead title of “Vice President”. He’s
been with Ibbotson for almost nine years, laboring away on successive versions
of Ibbotson’s desktop investment analysis and planning software. His
development work is mainly in C++, but also includes VB and VBA.
Mark is a University of Wisconsin alum, where he earned a degree in Computer
Science and Psychology, and a native of Green Bay. While Mark is an avid Packer
fan and a relative of one of the original 1919 Green Bay Packers, he is proud
to have never worn a cheesehead. Mark spends most of his free time trying to
keep his older sons (age 3 and 5) off of his younger son (age 1). |
