Daryl Lucas...with his big fish!

Daryl Lucas

Daryl is a former Word MVP and current full-time dad, freelance writer, job-hunter, student, builder, and problem-solver. After over seven years writing and editing for The Livingstone Corporation in suburban Chicago, and eight years building software for Ibbotson Associates in Chicago, he is now VP of Development at Robis Elections in Wheaton, Illinois (http://www.robiselections.com).

Daryl’s writing runs the gamut, from technical references to children’s books. He is a co-author of the ancient text Microsoft Office 2000 Deployment and Administration (Macmillan Computer Publishing, 2000), Technical Editor (Word Section) of Platinum Edition Using Microsoft Office 2000 (Macmillan Computer Publishing, 1999), and co-author and technical editor of Special Edition Using Microsoft Office 2000 (Macmillan Computer Publishing, 1999). He is also the author of The Smithsonian Connection (Tyndale House Publishers, 1991), The Eager Reader Bible (Tyndale House Publishers, 1994), and The Baker Bible Dictionary for Kids (Baker Book House, 1997).

In his spare time, Daryl enjoys reading, writing, hunting, and fishing. He lives with his genius wife, three genius teenage sons, and two genius dogs in Wheaton, Illinois. But he’d really like to be living on a farm. You can read his blog at http://www.djlucas.net/blog. He can be reached at daryl@djlucas.net.
