This month I thought we could have a
look at grouping in more detail. In the way filters allow us to exclude
information from our views, grouping allows views to be grouped by blocks of
similar data in various ways to help us plan or present information. In the
Standard tool bar, Project has provided a grouping button (Group By) for
quick access, which shows the default No Group. However, as Groups can
also be created and customized for both Task views and Resource views, we’ll have a more detailed look at this useful facility.
